LBN Program Developments: Business & Operational Planning
In February 2007 LBN Band Council has completed its Business & Operational Plans that extends 5 years. From these plans the Administration interprets direction and work that is needed to compliment these plans.
The Health Department has completed its business and operational plans for a period of 5 years. The general plan is to have all the program areas develop business and operational plans within a 5 month period. When all plans for all programs are complete a consolidated session between all program areas will take place to identify integration of services.
The ultimate picture these activities will achieve will be to show our Members, Funding agencies, and Governments who we are, how our business is operated and where do we need extra funds to fill in some gaps in our operations.
The plans will give both Council and Administration direction. The main feature about these plans is that we have never in the history of Lake Babine Nation had practical plans established in this fashion.

We mentioned this in past newsletters that the old ways are respected and appreciated, however the new ways of doing business is swift, money making and progressive. We have set these directions for the younger generations.
