LBN Public Works YardLake Babine Nation Public Works Yard is owned and operated by Lake Babine Nation. LBN Members provide services such as appliance repairs, plumbing, and house repairs. Appliances that can be repaired are cookstoves, washers, and dryers. Plumbing services include leak repairs, toilet or sink replacements, and plugged sewer lines. House repairs include drywall and minor renovations. All workers are Lake Babine Nation members. Services are available to Fort Babine, Tachet, Donalds Landing, and Old Fort communities. | ![]() |
Morris Williams Memorial PreschoolRecently received full certification to operate as a BC equivalent standard preschool. This facility is operated by LBN Members with a unique curriculum that includes the Babine Carrier Language as the first language. Preschoolers are picked up at there home with a school bus. Tachet Trapper’s Gas StoreOwned by the community of Tachet this gas bar and convenience store is one of two stores in the Gransile area. Regular and Premium gasoline and diesel are available to First Nations citizens and tax exempt when status cards are verified. This store has the basic necessities such as groceries, personal effects, native crafts hand made by the locals, and t-shirts. | ![]() |

Old Fort Community HallThis facility is available for business retreats, meetings, weddings, and social gatherings. It is located in the mid section of the Babine Lake. Accessible by boat only, the location and natural surroundings provides an uninterrupted atmosphere. Electricity is produced with a portable generator that is maintained by the Band Members.
